For your protection, we are not permitted to handle client money and we cannot accept cheques made out to us (unless it is in respect of an item for which we have sent you an invoice) or to handle cash.
We are covered by the Financial Compensation Scheme (FSCS) if we cannot meet our obligations. This is dependent upon the type of business and the circumstances of the claim. Most types of investment business are covered up to a maximum limit of £85,000 whereas insurance business is covered for 90% of the claim without any upper limit. For annuities, advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the claims without an upper limit.
We hold the required Professional Indemnity Insurance.
